Terms
These terms apply when you use runclub.info. By using the site you agree to them. They’re short, and written to be read.
Who we are
runclub.info is run by Yoghurt Digital Ltd (company number 13295779), 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. You can reach us at hello@runclub.info.
What runclub.info is
A free guide to run clubs in Greater Manchester. We don’t organise, lead or supervise any of the runs we list. Each club is independent and responsible for its own runs.
Check before you go
Club details come from the clubs’ own public pages and from organisers who manage their page here. Runs get moved, cancelled or changed, so check the club’s own channels before you go. We work to keep listings right, but we can’t promise every detail is correct or up to date. If you spot a mistake, email us and we’ll fix it.
Running safely
Running carries some risk. Choose runs that suit your fitness and health, and ask a doctor first if you’re unsure. Take care on roads and paths, and follow the run leader’s instructions. Any arrangement to run with a club is between you and that club.
Runner answers and tips
- You must be 18 or over to send answers.
- Only tell us about a run you went to yourself, and follow our community guidelines.
- What you write stays yours. You give us free, non-exclusive permission to publish it on runclub.info without your name, and to shorten it or take out personal details.
- We read everything before it appears. We can choose not to publish an answer, and can remove it later.
- You can ask us to remove your answers at any time by emailing us from the address you used.
For club organisers
- Only claim a club’s page if you’re 18 or over and allowed to speak for the club. We check every claim and can refuse one or remove access.
- Keep your club’s details accurate. Don’t add anything misleading, unlawful or that you don’t have the right to use, such as someone else’s photos.
- What you add stays the club’s. You give us free, non-exclusive permission to publish it on runclub.info and to edit it for accuracy, length or style.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- A club can ask us to change or remove its listing at any time.
Using the site fairly
Sharing links to club pages is always welcome. Please don’t:
- copy or republish the directory, or large parts of it, or collect it with bots or scrapers
- try to break, overload or get around the site’s security
- send spam or false information, or pretend to be someone else
- use the site for anything unlawful.
The site’s design, writing and the directory as a whole belong to Yoghurt Digital Ltd and are protected by copyright and database right. Club names, and anything clubs add, belong to the clubs.
Other sites
We link to clubs’ Instagram pages, websites and to Google Maps. We’re not responsible for those sites or what they do with your information.
Our responsibility to you
runclub.info is free and provided as it is. We’re not responsible for what happens at a club’s runs, for losses caused by relying on listing details that turn out to be wrong or out of date, or for the site sometimes being unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn’t allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your legal rights as a consumer aren’t affected.
If something goes wrong
We can remove content, close accounts or stop someone using the site if they break these terms. We may also change, pause or close the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we’ll email organisers about any big change that affects them.
Complaints and the law
Email hello@runclub.info and we’ll reply within two working days. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there. How we handle your details is in our privacy notice.
