Who runs this site

runclub.info is run by Yoghurt Digital Ltd (company number 13295779), 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE. Email hello@yoghurtdigital.co.uk about anything on this page.

What we collect

• If you add a club: your email address, the club’s name and its Instagram or website.
• If you claim a club’s page: your name, email address, your role in the club and anything you tell us to help us check it’s you. If we approve it, we create an account with your name and email address; your password is stored only as a secure hash.
• If you tell us about a run (“Been to a run here?”): your answers, your tip if you leave one, when you went, and your email address. We use your email only to confirm it was you and to contact you about your answers. It is never shown. Approved answers and tips appear on the club’s page without your name.
• For club listings: details clubs publish about their runs, such as days, times, meeting points and links. We list clubs, not the people who run with them.

Why, and on what basis

We use organisers’ details to set up and check club listings, and to run the accounts they use to edit their club. That is based on our legitimate interest in keeping an accurate guide to local run clubs.

We publish runners’ answers about clubs because they chose to share them, and because honest first-hand answers help other runners (our legitimate interest). We read every answer before it appears, following our community guidelines.

How long we keep it

Organisers’ details and accounts are kept while their club is listed, or until they ask us to delete them.

Runners’ answers that are never confirmed by email are deleted after 30 days. Confirmed answers are kept while the club is listed, or until you ask us to remove them.

Where it is stored

The site, its database and the emails it sends are run on Cloudflare. We don’t sell or share your details with anyone else.

Cookies and tracking

runclub.info uses no analytics and no advertising cookies. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie for club organisers using our admin pages, which is needed for signing in. Our fonts are served from runclub.info itself.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

If you run a club and want its listing removed, email us and we’ll take it down.
